Attorney Tatiauna Holland is Representing Houston Protestors Pro Bono

Pro Bono Lawyer for Protestors in Houston Texas

Following the death of Houston-Native George Floyd, people across the United States and the world began protesting police brutality against African-Americans and other people of color.

The majority of these protests have been peaceful, but still have resulted in the arrests of several Americans exercising their constitutional right to protest.

In response, Attorney Tatiauna Holland has partnered with other Houston-based attorneys to represent pro bono, individuals arrested in Harris County during the protests.

Currently, we are representing individuals, who have been arrested for non-violent offenses only. We will assess the facts of each case before representation. We reserve the right to decline representation.

Contact our office regarding a protest-related arrest 24/7 at (832) 328-7877 or submit an inquiry at www.tjhollandlaw.com.

USCIS Reopens to the Public on June 4, 2020

USCIS is preparing to reopen in TWO days. Many people are wondering what does this mean for my case?

  • If you were scheduled for an interview and it was cancelled due to COVID19 (i.e. Permanent Resident Interview or Naturalization Interview), USCIS will automatically reschedule your interview.

Please remember, USCIS has been closed since March 18, 2020. This means USCIS has a lot of interviews to reschedule. It may take some time to reschedule your interview. If you have questions regarding how long it can take USCIS to reschedule your interview, check USCIS processing times here

  • USCIS is Following New Safety Procedures

USCIS is requiring attendees to wear face coverings. They are also limiting the people who can enter USCIS facilities and attend the interview.

Visitors are limited to the applicant, one representative, one family member and one individual providing disability accommodations. The applicant should arrange to have their interpreter available by phone.

USCIS has stated the ceremony will be shortened. Unfortunately no family or friends may attend the ceremony.

Attendance is limited to the naturalization candidate and individuals providing assistance to disabled persons.
