We are proud to announce that Tatiauna Holland and the Holland Law Firm, PLLC successfully defended a green card holder, who was in removal proceedings following a misdemeanor conviction for marijuana possession.

Our client was a first-year college student from Europe, who had been erroneously advised by another attorney that a simple marijuana possession conviction would not affect his immigration status. That wrong legal advice landed him in removal proceedings and in imminent danger of deportation.

We quickly got to work by collecting evidence of the client's positive equities, including college enrollment, community service, rehabilitation, and support from his lawful permanent resident family.

The Court granted our client a 212h waiver. Now, he is home with his family and preparing to return to college in just a few days.
